Video Matching
Find a like-minded study partner by subject and schedule, so no study session is ever solo.
What it is
Video matching finds you the study partner whose subject, schedule and pace overlap with yours, from people who are equally serious about studying. No group-chat shouting, no bugging friends — state your needs and let matching do the rest.
How to use it
- Pick your target subject (English, math, programming…) and the hours you're usually online.
- Start or accept a match, and get to know each other through one short video study session.
- Lock it in if it clicks: agree on fixed sessions per week and their length.
- Politely move on if it doesn't — matching owes nobody a long-term relationship.
Tips for better matches
- Share time first, commit later. Two or three quiet sessions together say more than any self-introduction.
- Be explicit about your rhythm in your profile. "Online 8–11 p.m., prefers quiet co-study" filters out most mismatches.
- Run the standard flow from day one. 25–50 minutes, cameras on, one-line wrap-up at the end — the routine itself is a filter.
Once you've found your person, you can jump straight into a study room from the chat.
